I ordered the classic falafel, and it was a revelation. The falafel balls were perfectly crispy on the outside, while the inside remained moist and flavorful. The portion size was generous, making it a great value for money.

I’m going to preface this by saying that I’m not vegan and I love the food!! It was my first real exposure to vegan and I would be happy to eat this every day. So many options, the quality of food is phenomenal and it was easy to place an order and be out within a few minutes. Super friendly staff and easy location to get to. Will definitely be back!!

HIDDEN GEM! Absolutely delicious, fresh, clean and great customer service. Plant based middle eastern inspired fast food restaurant that will rank top 5 in your list in DC You come in and find 3 touchscreen monitors to your right which you use to order everything you want. Then they will call your name to pick up the order if they are too busy or bring it to your table if they aren’t too busy. Love, love, love this spot and I wish I found it sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I had passed by this place many times and was always interested to check it out. My first meal was at home through a delivery app. The food was good. It was fresh and clean. The next day, I ended up heading to the restaurant to dine in. Ordering is simple because they have touch screens available where one can order and pay (credit card, mobile pay...). The interior is simple and enough for dining quick on your way to another plan. The second time, the quality was still good and everything was tasty. I’ll certainly continue heading here regularly. Thank you.

This spot is so good! I’ve passed the A-Frame sign outside this place a few times recently with this delicious looking bowl on the sign, today I ate lunch at Shouk for the first time! I ordered my food to go and I was very impressed with the freshness and quality of the food. The flavors were so good, my food looked just like the picture on the A-frame sign outside. I spent 20 on the bowl, a San Pellegrino and some pita bread. It was perfect and the falafel was crispy on the outside nice and warm and fluffy on the inside. Im 8 months pregnant and trying my best to eat healthy. This is a really good spot I’ll definitely be back.

This is a cute little spot to have your vegan meals of the day. I got Vegan Shawarma, and it was the best. It didn’t tasted like mushroom at all. The dressings and sauces inside the pita pocket were so delicious. The whole pocket was full of flavors and was amazing. Ordering is pretty simple, through there app or kiosk. They have a nice outdoor seating in Georgetown. So perfect place to grab some sandwiches on a perfect weather. They have cute packaging and everything is plant based and 100% compostable.

The ordering process is really easy because you use a tablet (this also takes the pressure off if you're slow to make decisions!) The food is made pretty quickly and tastes really fresh. I ordered a za'atar cauliflower bowl, and it had a ton of flavor. The falafel is some of the best I've ever had!

2 Way Eggplant was about the healthiest and most delicious vegetarian dish I could hope for. (Eggplant seared on a hot grill, creamy baba ganoush, almond feta, smashing potatoes, pomegranate-infused tomatoes, black lentils, quinoa, greens.) I loved the almond feta in the middle that you can shmear onto whatever you want, and pretty much anything can be mixed -- plus the hot sauce was tasty, though definitely not needed since the natural flavors speak for themselves. Staff were super friendly. Great music. I savored the delicious Malachi dessert (Coconut milk pudding, raspberry syrup, rose water, toasted coconut, mint) on the road since my meter was expiring. Pictures of a market (hence the name shoulk/shuk) with both Hebrew and Arabic signs, maybe a nod to solidarity. Glad I stumbled across this place and will be back for more soon. I seldom write reviews but this inspired me.
